I needed to create a static RSS feed today, and found there were no good programs to create them, that would run on a mac (probably because of how little use static RSS feeds have).

RSS Maker is written in PHP, so will run on any platform PHP will run on. Uses sqlite to store data, so there is no need to run a database server.

Copy all the files somewhere that your webserver can find them, and set the permission on the data directory so the webserver can write to it.

Run (either from the CLI or web) createData.php, which you can delete after running.

If you are running on a public webserver, you will probably want to restrict access, since no authentication is required to use.
