- PHP version 5.3.6 or higher.
- The PDO_MYSQL PHP Package.
- MySQL version 5.0 or higher.
- The mod_rewrite Apache module / ngx_http_rewrite_module / ISAPI_Rewrite IIS module / IIS7+.
- The mod_headers module is needed if you run Carbon Forum on Apache HTTP Server.

Ensure that the entire directory are writable.

Open http://www.yourdomain.com/install and install.

Open the Forum, and register. The first registered users will become administrators.
