Hair salon allows users to add stylists' names to a database. Each stylist can also have a list of clients associated with them. Users are able to manage both types of lists with edit and delete features.

1. Clone this repository: run command 'git clone https://github.com/radradish/hair_salon.git' then change directory to top level of project folder.
2. Use Composer to install dependencies: run command 'composer install' to download vendor files for Silex, Twig, and PHPUnit (if you wish to run the included tests).
3. A local SQL server is needed to run the app: - In your terminal: 'mysql.server start' followed by 'mysql -root -proot' - If you would like to create the databases from scratch, use the following commands: - CREATE DATABASE hair_salon; - USE hair_salon; - CREATE TABLE stylists (name VARCHAR (255), id serial PRIMARY KEY); - CREATE TABLE clients (name VARCHAR (255), stylist_id INT, id serial PRIMARY KEY); - (Then copy to hair_salon_test using phpmyadmin if you would like to run the included tests.) - Be sure are using the correct server address in app/app.php, tests/StylistTest.php, and tests/ClientTest.php!
4. Start your server in the 'web' folder: to use PHP's built-in server, run command 'php -S localhost:8000'
5. View the app: in your browser, navigate to the home page at the root address. If running a server as described above, go to 'http://localhost:8000'.
