Git Repository with my code for the PHP Workers Tutorial

Clone the repository from your command line:

git clone https://github.com/JustinCarmonyDotCom/PHP-Workers-Tutorial.git
cd PHP-Workers-Tutorial

Initialize & Update the submodules so that you can use the Beanstalk Console:

git submodule init
git submodule update

Now we need to install our dependencies from composer. You can find out how to setup composer here. So in the root of the project you should be able to run:

composer.phar install

In the root of the project there is a config.sample.php which you need to copy to config.php. It just requires a API key for http://www.dictionaryapi.com/ (or you can just use mine that is in the sample).

Now, we use Vagrant to setup an environment for our demo. Make sure you have VirtualBox (or another vagrant provider) and Vagrant installed. Once they are installed you can go into the vagrant folder and vagrant up the project:

cd vagrant
vagrant box add precise64 http://files.vagrantup.com/precise64.box
vagrant up

If there are no errors, you should see something like this:
