This project makes use of a PHP dependency manager. Full details and installation instructions can be found at getcomposer.org.

Your computer must also be set up to support PDO (PHP Data Objects) and MySQL. There are a variety of free tools available to configure your computer, including MAMP (MacOS) and LAMP (Windows), as well as ample documentation online.

To run the application:

• Start your local PHP server from the web/ directory within the project folder
• Start your MySQL server, being sure to adjust the port number as needed
• Import the databases included in this repository, or run the following commands:

CREATE DATABASE shoes;
CREATE TABLE stores (id serial PRIMARY KEY, store_name VARCHAR (255));
CREATE TABLE brands (id serial PRIMARY KEY, brand_name VARCHAR (255));
CREATE TABLE brands_stores (id serial PRIMARY KEY, store_id INT, brand_id INT);

• Point your browser to your localhost server
