Word import is a plugin for the TinyMCE editor that allows users to import Word files into a text editor box. The contents of the Word file, including images, tables and equations are converted into HTML/MathML and pasted into the box.

• The Microsoft Word file Import/Export (Book) plugin must be installed on the Moodle server to enable the conversion to be done.

• The Word files must be in .docx (Word 2007/2010) format.
