Copy this application onto your web server. The following are instructions using GIT through shell on your server.
$ git clone https://github.com/shannah/social-network-server.git $ cd social-network-server $ ant $ cp conf.ini-sample conf.ini
The last call to ant will clone Xataface into the xataface subdirectory.
Create an empty MySQL database, and create a user for the database with full permissions granted.
Modify the settings in the conf.ini file to match the information for the database you created in step 2. You should only need to modify the [_database] section.
