This is a ZenCart Theme for Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, using Bootstrap v3.3.6.

The theme can be installed using make. This will create symbolic links from your ZenCart installation to the appropriate directories in the theme folder:

make install ZENCART_PATH='/path/to/my/zencart-root-folder'

The final CSS is generated from Bootstrap's SCSS source files and our custom SASS files. The CSS is generated using scss and the commands are organized using make. To watch the SASS files for changes & automatically compile new CSS files, simply run make. To only build them once, run make build. To build compressed CSS files for distribution, run make dist.

You can also use make to generate boilerplate code for the theme. Currently, only sideboxes are supported. Run make sidebox NAME=<sidebox-name> like so:

make sidebox NAME='sese_product_icons'

This will generate the following files with the minimal amount of code required for a ZenCart sidebox:

• theme/languages/english/extra_definitions/sese-bootstrap/sese_product_icons_sidebox_defines.php
• theme/modules/sideboxes/sese-bootstrap/sese_product_icons_sidebox.php
• theme/templates/sese-bootstrap/sideboxes/tpl_sese_product_icons_sidebox.php

Some of ZenCart's default functionality has been changed in this theme:

• We include font files, which the default ZenCart includes/.htaccess does not allow. You will need to modify includes/.htacces, appending woff2?|ttf|eot to the FilesMatch regular expression.
• There is no right column. Instead, any sideboxes set to display in the right column will take up 1/3 of a row in the footer.
• Removed all Banners. Any Banners added via ZenCart's Admin will not show up.

• The alphabetical filter has been replaced by the sorting dropdown from the All Products page.
• New/Featured/Special/Upcoming Product Boxes have been removed from invalid Category pages.
• Add Products to Cart buttons moved to each products row & always applies only to that product(instead of every product/quantity on the page).
• Removed filtering by manufacturers.
• Removed table headings from products table.
• Moved model number in products table to description column, requires enabling the model number under Admin -> Configuration -> Product Listing -> Display Product Model.

• Modify the products table to match the Category Pages.

• Removed displaying product reviews.
• Removed product date display.
• Removed more information link.
• Removed previous/listing/next buttons.
• Removed displaying quantity discounts.
• Removed displaying product attributes.
• Removed Tell-a-Friend button.

• Removed the product notifications from the Checkout Success Page.

• Removed email format preference input on the Account Edit Page.
• Removed newsletter unsubscribe link on the My Account Page.

• Add Sort Dropdown from All Products Page.
